WiDS Turku is a platform for exceptionally talented national and international women data scientists to present their outstanding work. WiDS Turku is a satellite event to the main annual “Women in Data Science Conference” organized by Stanford University.
WiDS Turku together with more than 150 similar regional events worldwide is where those passionate for technological advancements, revolutionized future and scientific excellence, independent of their gender, get together to share their visions and ideas in the field of Data Science.
WiDS Turku welcomes world-renowned speakers, both from academia and industry. Although the event speakers are solely women, we encourage everyone with all genders and backgrounds to participate in this one-day event. This is an opportunity to hear, contemplate and discuss how data science is changing the world we are familiar with and how to become a part of this unique wave of development.
